I've worked in optics for two years and let me tell you, it is not physically possible to lose a contact behind your eyeball!. It can slide off to the sides or top or bottom of your eye though!. If you can't get to an optometrists office right away see if you have anyone around you who is familiar with contacts who can hold your your eyelid while you turn your eye in every which direction!. If it's off to a side they should be able to see it!. Your eye could just be painful now from having messed with it and irritated it so much trying to find the contact!. If it's still bothering you in the morning then definitely stop by a dr's office really quick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's probably folded up under your eyelid!. The more you blink and freak out, the more it will hurt!. See if you can lift/flip your eyelid up and see it up there!. Then shut your eyelid and try massaging it in a downward motion to move the contact down!. I don't think it's possible to "lose" it in your eye socket, the fact that you are having so much pain means its in there somewhere, just gotta search for it!. When you get it out, make sure it comes out intact, cuz it hurts a lot when they rip and you have lil pieces stuck in there!. And puuuuhhhleeeze don't listen to these other people on here and call an ambulance or 911 for this, they will laugh at you!. I work on an ambulance and this is not a medical emergency!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes they can fold and go under your eyelid!. try to lift your eyelid up a little bit and see if you or someone else can see it there it is usually pretty painful!. Or there has been times when i didn't think i got mine out but i did so i scratched my eye trying to get it out so that could be why it is hurting, Also if it is under the eyelid you can put pressure on your eyelid and push down to try to get it back to you eye so you can get it

Good luck! i hope i help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes is possible, it has happened to me before!. it hides in the back of your eye, you just have to keep massaging your eye from top to bottom pushing your finger on top of your eyelid way inside and then out, it may take some time, you just have to raise your eyelid and look for it, once you see it, pull it out with your fingers!. try rolling your eyes to every direction too, it may help moving it!. and dont worry, you wont lose your eye, i havent lost mine yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go look in the mirror and look up down back and forth (i lost mine before and it was under my eye) there really isnt that far it can go your eye is connected to the socket!.!. if you cant see anything i would try just going to sleep and see in the morning!. i sleep with my contacts in all the time so its not going to hurt anything!. i would probably go see an eye doctor in the morning if you cant get it out!. but if it hurts alot and you cant sleep just go to ER they will help you get it out!. hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry this has happened to me as well!.
Get a mirror!.
Lie down, close your eye and rub them gently, then open and blink,
do this back and forth and it should come down!.
It's just traveled up north!.
Don't panic, and don't flush with water, water has chlorine, in it and will irritate your delicate eyes!.
This should def!.help!
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

this happened to me a couple weeks ago, I kept rolling my eye up until it caught on to the contact (I also lightly pressed my eyelid to help my eye ball find the contact)!. JMHO, i dont see reason to go to the eye doc or take an ambulance ride to the hospital for it!.!. the thing wont go anywhere but your eye, it wont end up in your brain or something, why freak out and call an ambulance!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its physically impossible for a contact to go into the back of your eye!. I know this for sure!. I used to wear contacts until they messed my eyes up and now I can never wear them again!. Im sure your contact just fell out and now your eye is irritated!. Don't flush your eye with water, use Visine and see if that helps!. If not, call your eye doctor!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

That happened to me once, I ended up putting my glasses on and seeing it was crinkled up just above my eyelid!. my eye hurt for a while after(like 10 minuteS) but it hasnt happened since so try rolling your eyes a bit and lifting the eyelids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes the contact is stuck, but don't only flush you eye with just water, try some eye drops it should help!. If that doesn't help see a doctor or pharmacist ASAP I'm not trying to scare you but you don't want to get inflammation, or maybe an infection Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whoa! lost the contact in your eye! You should quickly go to the Optometrist or call the ambulance before it gets any worse!. You eyes can get infected!.

Try putting the Liquid they give you in your eye and continue to blink and see if it comes out!.

One time i thought i had lost my contact in my eye!. It hurt really bad but i realized later that it hurt because i was searching for it!. leave it alone for a little while and see if it isn't irratated anymore, it might have just slipped out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it is possible but keep trying to flush it out with solution!. If you really can't get it, don't panic!. Make some kind of eye patch and get to the emergency room!. It could be jammed in there pretty good!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your contact can roll up onto the white of your eye!. It happened to me once!. Go to the eye doctor and get help with that!. Trying to fix it on your own is dangerous!.!.you could injure yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don;t know but don't leave it on a table and forget about it, I did it in cooking class, then the next week i found it dried up like a fish scale!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try rolling your eyeballs around a few times!. close your eyes and roll your eyeball!. it is very possible for your contact to slide to the back of your eyeball!. did you sleep with them on!? thats a no-no!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes it can roll back in the top!. when this happened to me i had to pull on my eyeball up in the back of the socket until it came out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I prefer glasses because you can really damage your eyes while putting on contacts!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
