Help with colored (purple) contacts?!

Question: Help with colored (purple) contacts!?
I've been thinking about contacts, and since I already have to wear them, why not get colored!?
I'm nearsighted (-2!.5 in right eye and -3!.0 in left)!. I have really dark brown eyes, almost black, and I was thinking of getting purple contacts!. Are there any good brands that are comfortable, look natural, and come with prescription!?
Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's only one national brand of disposable colored contact lenses, that sell purple lenses: Freshlook Colors in Violet and Freshlook Colorblends in Amethyst!. There are some private labels that sell purple lenses but don't know the names off hand!. I tried both and the Amethyst was much prettier, but I'm not a purple kinda person!. I also have dark brown eyes!. Best thing to do is ask the dr if you can wear them and try the colors on in their office!. Every color looks different on each person As far as clarity, you will definitely see better in clear lenses over color!. Some people complain that they get a hazy vision through the colors, due to the clear pupil hole in the center of the lens!. It's something you have to get adjusted to over time!. It will never go away!. Both purple's are available in your power, but you need to have the dr fit and prescribe them to you before you can buy, sorry!. As far as being comfortable, it just depends on if they fit properly!. I've worn Freshlook for a very long time, since I'm extremely farsighted!. But not for cosmetic reasons!. Just makes it easier to see the lens if I drop it on the sink! I've been happy with them! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have to laugh a little that you want a natural looking purple contact lens!. I think I know what you mean though!. The best brand is probably going to be through Ciba - it's called Freshlook!. They make different kinds for different eyes, so they have an opaque colored contact for very dark eyes, and blended color contacts for lighter eyes!. I forget which one is which, but I'm sure a website will explain!. It would be best if you go to your eye doctor, as there are a lot of different factors in the kind of contacts you wear!. If your pupils are large, you might not be able to wear colored contacts, as the colored part might interfere with your vision!. Most eye doctors will see you for a quick appointment about contact lenses, without charging you for a full eye exam!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
