Is it okay to only wear one contact?!

Question: Is it okay to only wear one contact!?
i have bad eyesight in both of my eyes, but my left one is way worse than my right!. i'm one of those people that has trouble getting their contacts in, so usually i just put my left one in to save time!. i find that i can see the same with one in and both in!. is this bad for my eyes though!? is it causing one eye to work harder than the other!?
thank you sooo much! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are putting strain on BOTH eyes when you do this!. Just put in both contacts or buy glasses!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it really depends on how big your prescription is, but really you should use lenses in both eyes as your optican would have prescibed your lenses for you to have stereo vision ( using both eyes)!. It seems like your left eye is your dominant eye so it is coping with doing all the work but it is working too hard, and your right eye isnt working hard enough!!. fundamentally, your brain is ignoring all the images coming from your right eye!. Worst case scenario is that your depth perception will be affected, at least your eyes are working to hard!

If you have trouble getting your lenses in, ask your optician to reteach you how to insert your lenses, you might not quite have the right technique or they may be able to show you a short cut or easier way to insert your lenses! (and, they shouldn't charge you for that)Www@Answer-Health@Com

get your optician to teach you how to insert lenses!. With a good teacher you should learn to put them in no problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
