one is spherical and the other is cylndrical with a axis in them

Astigmatism!. I have a slight one in my right eye!. Basically, objects viewed from a certain distance will appear blurred in one direction!. It made it very difficult to read signs at a distance until I had my eyes checked!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is just a refraction error of the eye, like being near or far sighted!.
