I've been wearing contacts for about 8 years now!. It's going to feel very strange when you first put them in!. I mean, it's a foreign object going onto your eye! But you will adjust and once you blink a few times and look around, you'll be able to see just fine!.

I would talk to your eye doctor about monthly lenses!. I use lenses that I throw away at the end of each month!. It's less expensive than daily or weekly, but better for the health of your eyes then yearly!. If you happen to nap in the monthly ones, it's usually fine (but it's still not a great idea)!. CooperVision has good lenses, but your doctor will know what's best!. My eyes sometimes get dry from the lenses so my doctor recommended that I use ones that allow more oxygen flow in and out of the lens!.

As far as red eyes, it really depends on your eyes!. If you notice that your eyes are irritated from the lenses after a couple of weeks, talk to your doctor or buy some Visine drops!. Also make sure that you wash your hands before you touch your eye!. That could cause your eyes to be redder if you had something that could irritate your eyes!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I first got contacts it took awhile to get used to them!. Everything was blurry for the first day or so but that was just because my eyes were adjusting them!. Since i've gotten used to them I will never go back to glasses! Just make sure you take them out every night and keep them clean or else they will get dry and uncomfortable and you will be more likely to get an eye infection if you leave them in constantly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor will check your prescription and update it if needed as well as check the health of your eyes (the blah blah blah part)!. The doctor will give you some trial lenses based on your lifestyle (dailies, biweeklies, or monthlies usually)!. An optician will teach you how to insert and remove them as well as go over how to take care of them!. Once the lenses are on your eyes, the doctor will look at them again to make sure they fit correctly!. If you are able to insert and remove the lenses yourself the first day, you can usually take them home to practice!. You will then come back in a week for a follow-up to make sure the lenses are not damaging or irritating your eyes!. If you cannot insert and remove the contacts the first day, you will have to go back to try again!. The best thing to do is just relax and keep practicing!. Everyone has trouble at first, but if you keep practicing, soon enough it will be second nature!.

The doctor is the only one who can tell you what a good brand for your eye is!. You are the only one who can tell what brand is comfortable for you!. Everyone is different and what's comfortable for someone else may be uncomfortable for you!.

At first, you will probably just feel them on your eye!. They shouldn't be uncomfortable but may be a little annoying!. That is why the doctor will come up with a wearing schedule for you to "break them in!." Usually you wear them for about 2 hours the first day, 4 hours the second day, etc!. to get used to them!. Eventually they should be so comfortable you don't feel them!.

No, there are no contacts that will get rid of camera red eye--that is a reflection off of the back inside of your eye through your pupil!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
