yes you need to have coloured contacts fitted by an optometrist!. please! don't be sucked in by websites selling without needing prescriptions!. it is for your benefit!. you should be taught how to use them, clean them and go for regular check ups for the health of your eyes!. i wear coloureds for fun and i'm a licensed optician!. the massive infections and damage caused by incorrect and improper fits of Cl's are just not worth it!. dark eyes benefit from opaque colours (some cls are only accents or transparent)!. and you can get daily disposables or extended wear ones that last for weeks to months!. it's worth paying a bit extra to have the follow up care from someone who knows what they're doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's a federal law that prohibits the sale of contact lenses without a written prescription from your eye doctor!. So your answer is "no"!. You must have an exam and fitting done regardless of if you need correction or not!. I hope the website that the other person posted IS NOT selling contacts without a prescription! They'll be in a lot of doggy doo doo if they are!. Just go in and have an exam, then you can take your Rx and purchase lenses where ever you wish! Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can buy plane ones but they are rubbish and hurt your eyes and have been known to cause lots of problems!. You can buy them most places like Argos!. You should really get ones from the optician though which you will need a prescription for!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No, you can get them for purely cosmetic reasons too!.!.!. Just call an eye doc tomorrow and they can fit you for a pair!Www@Answer-Health@Com
