Question: How do i keep eye contact!?
i get nervous when i make eye contact for a long time and my boyfriend says that he feels like im not listening when i look at the floor or the ceiling!. i know its rude but i feel like my eyes are going to burn out of my head when i make eye contact for more than like 7 seconds!.

I too have a problem making eye contact sometimes!. And when somebody is really in-tuned with what you are saying!.!.!. it can make you feel uncomfortable how much eye contact they make!. Honestly, the only thing you really can do is practice looking into people's eyes more when you are conversing!. Try first with the people whom you feel most comfortable talking to!.!.!. like family, your boyfriend, or a close friend!. If it helps, use the whole picture the audience in their underwear trick, just try not to lose concentration ;-) You should be honest with whoever it is you are practicing with as well, especially your boyfriend!. Its not rude to look away every now and again!. You don't want to stare constantly at the person you're talking to so just make eye contact, hold it then look away every few minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
look at his eyes for as long as you can then look elsewhere on his face such as!.!.!.eye brows, nose mouth he may never notice your not looking in his eyesWww@Answer-Health@Com
I feel the same way, try to look around at his face perhaps when you talk to him, or adjusts your watch and then look back if you feel like you've been staring too long!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first thing to do is relax!.!.no one like people who stare at them in the eyes, just look at the persons face and build it up short periods to longer!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
haha i have this problem when i need to talk to my boss or teacher or someone of importance for awhile!. i look at their nose!. to them it looks like you're keeping eye contact!. hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you look at the bridge of his nose instead of directly into his eyes it'll look like you're maintaining eye contact!. Try that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
