Uj!. This is an individual thing, there are not any general rules!. Doctors who are reputable will not do it for many reasons!. In MY situation, I have three of the big NO NO's so I am a bad candidate!.!.!.I have thin corneas!.!.!.!.bad idea!. I have dry eyes!.!.!.!.bad idea, I have night time driving glare issues!.!.!.!.bad idea!. So, there ya go!. I am severely myopic and would love a safe and sane way to do a laser surgery!. I am employed by a great eye doctor and I have access to some of the best surgeons in the Sate of CA!. I have been advised that it is not in my best interrest by the experts!. Now, if I shopped, I could find a doctor that would do it, and most likely do it cheaply!. But GEEE!.!.!.!.I do not want to even go there becuase my risks are too great!. Everyone is an idividual and it is amazingly a great idea for those who are good candidates, but there are many many things that can make you a bad candidate and only a reputable doctor can tell you what your specific risks would be by looking at you and examining your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your long sighted!. Its not recommended!. Also if there is something wrong with your eyes ie thinning of the eye or something you may not be able to get it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My optician said I couldn't have it even if I wanted to because my prescription had changed within the last six months!. It can only be done if yours is stable (whatever that means)Www@Answer-Health@Com
