1) Contacts allow normal vision in a 180 degree field from left to right rather than only through the eyeglasses lenses positioned in front of the face!.
2) Objects viewed through the periphery of spectacle lenses will be shifted to the side in space!. Try holding your glasses in your hands at arms length and then look at something just above the top of the glasses!. You will also be able to see the same object lower in space in the glasses!. Which one is the real one!?
3) Contacts don't fog up when going from a cold to a warm moist environment!.
4) Contacts don't get wet in the rain and obstruct your vision!.
5) Contacts don't get broken when you go up for a rebound and your opponent comes down with an elbow across your nose!.
6) A catcher playing baseball can more easily remove and replace his mask with contacts rather than glasses!.
7) There are no reflections of light with contacts so people tend to see better with things such as night driving!.
8) Women can put on makeup looking in the mirror better because they can see themselves!. With glasses a woman must remove the glasses to apply makeup but then they may not be able to see what they are doing clearly!.

I don't wear either but I have 4 friends contacts and about 89% ppl I no wear glasses so here their reasons!.
1!. Contacts CAN be dangerous but you don't have to spend money every time it gets scratched, bent, or broke

i can only give one for myself: because contacts has no blurred area like eyeglasses, it easier for me to look at things with contacts however i think eyeglasses is more healthy to use because eyes are more prone to bacteria when contacts are improperly used or cleaned!.
