If you go to the optican they will test your eyes and give you all the available options!. But generally if both of your eyes need vision correction at different strenghts then each eye will be given a different percription

So if like you say only one eye is bad, then yes you may only have to wear one on just one of your eyes!.

Hope this helps :)

I'm in the same boat as you!. For a very long time, my left eye compensated for the right and I didn't need glasses!. But then I started not being able to see across the room and bam! All of the sudden, I become a glasses-wearer!.

Anyway, if you are really interested in getting contact lenses, then, yes, putting a contact in the bad one will help!. Since I don't think you can order contacts singly, order both of them in the prescription for the bad eye!. You will be able to save money that way, actually, since you get two contacts for the one eye!.

You could also go with glasses, as well, like I did, but your lenses are going to be very lopsided!. It's not a bad option if you don't like sticking crap in your eye!.

Finally, you could also elect to get laser surgery if you can afford it and if your eyes qualify!. It will be expensive at first but will save you money in the long run as you won't have to buy prescription lenses or contacts anymore!. That's one of the reasons why I am getting the laser surgery done!. I hate glasses!.

Good luck with your choice! Www@Answer-Health@Com

just go to the eye doctor and have him check your vision, i am 20/80 in one eye and 20/100 in the other ( something like that) its quite normal to have one worse eyeWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's totally normal; that's how I am!. You could just put a contact in one eye [or just have a stronger prescription in one eye than the other] or do the same thing with glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not sure, you should talk to your optician about it, maybe you can get laser eye surgery or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you visited an eye doctor yet!? They would be able to advise you better!. You might lenses for both eyes!. It's not rare two have worse vision in one eye than the other thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes
no harm in only 1 contact, or 2 with different perscriptions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people have a different vision in both eyes!. Go to the eye doctor and see if you need corrective lensesWww@Answer-Health@Com

sure go see your eye doctor!. You will probably find out that you need one for the other eye as well, just not as strong a prescription

Yes, docs prescribe this all the time!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it will!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is exactly what your Eye Dr!. would do!. My daughter has perfect eye sight in one eye but is near-sighted in the other, so they gave her one contact for one eye!

Have a good day!Www@Answer-Health@Com
