Answers:
Most likely you don't have bacterial pink eye!. Frequent hand washing is crucial to prevent spreading pink eye!. While there are several different kinds of pink eye, almost every case of pink eye is viral pink eye, and there is no particular treatment for it!. It will get better on its own within a week or so!. Check with your pharmacist for over the counter eye drops for pink eye!.

Hot compresses a few times a day will help!. As strange as this may sound, steep a couple of tea bags (real tea, not green tea or herbal tea), and place the moist tea bags on your eyes!. The tannic acid in the tea is soothing and will make you feel better and help with the swelling!. Wash your hands very often and be careful when cleaning and treated the affected eye to not spread pink eye to your other eye!.

Yes, you need to go to the doctor and have that checked out!. The doctor will know what you should be given for the pink eye!. There are two things he may prescribe you for that: a cream and the drops!. Naturally, if you wear contacts, do not wear them during the infection and don't use the ones you were using prior to the infection!.
Keep your eyes clean but don't try to scratch or put your fingers anywhere near them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You say you are already using OTC drops for the pink eye!.!.!.thtat's all that needs to be done!.

There is no real sense in running to a Dr!. just for that!.

I get eye infections fairly often and I don' t even wear contacts, but 2 days on Polysporin drops ( OTC) clears it right up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
