The doctor will give you a trial pair of lenses that you will wear for about a week!. After that week you'll have a follow up appointment when the doctor will check the fit and ask how they feel on a regular basis!. At this point in time you will either be cleared to order a supply!. You will also get some starter kits that contain solution and a case!.

Once you are fitted with the correct lens a Tech!. will take you through the process of putting the lenses in, taking them out, and taking care of them!. You can practice putting them in and taking them as much as you want while you're in the doctor's office!.

As for the type you get it depends on your prescription and the shape of your cornea!. The doctor will chose a lens that he/she feels will fit best for you!. Most doctors use disposable these days because they are more comfortable and new technology lets more oxygen reach the cornea, which is vital for the prevention of infection!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

they have a trial pack with lenses, small bottle of solution and a case!. most people use disposables these days - you can pick ones that go from dailies to monthlies!. they may have your prescription in stock or may have to order them, but usually you buy 6 month supplies at a time!. oh and they'll want to see you in a week to check how you are doing with the trial lenses before they give you the full supply!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think they do give you cleaner, but if not, you can buy it at Wal-Mart or Target!. Last time I was there, they gave me 5 pairs!. Yes, they are disposable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
