Yeah they should be the same prescription!. If they are not it could really confuse and mess up your eyes from switching lens intensity's so much!. It could also give you headaches!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends entirely on what your glasses prescription is as to whether the contacts will be the same numbers!.
If your glasses are - 4!.50!.!.!.then the contacts would be - 4!.25 to give the same thing!.!.
If your glasses are something like - 2!.00 - 0!.50 X 90!.!.!.!.then the contacts would be - 2!.25 to give the same effect!.!.!.
But if your glasses are a straight - 2!.00 with no astigmatism correction, then the contacts will be the same!.
So, sometimes the numbers will be the same, but many times they won't!.
No one can say for sure that they should be the same without seeing your glasses prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not in all cases!. My eyeglasses prescription is a little stronger than my contact lens prescription because contacts for astigmatism are made !.25 diopters higher or lower than my actual prescription!. My eyeglasses are plano -1!.50 axis 50, contact plano -1!.25 axis 60!. I also only have correction in my left eye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Do not listen to anyone who says, because contacts sit on your eye, which means they are closer than contacts, you must have a different prescription!. You should probably go to your eye doctor and get fitted for contacts so you can get the proper ones!. You cannot just start contacts without getting fitted, otherwise you might buy uncomfortable contacts with the wrong prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes they should, i have the same problem because my glasses are the same percription in both glass and my contacts are different

normally your eyes are suppose to be the same, but there are alot of people whos eyes are not the same, that it differenceses from each other!.

My glasses are a slightly different prescription than my contacts!. This is because the contacts are directly on your eye!. I have always had a slightly different prescription!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
