Question: Stored contact lenses for longer then 30 days !?
well i had these contact lenses and on the solution bottle it says after 30 days of storing them in the case, u hav 2 chuck out the solution!. well i forgot about them and left my contacts in the case 4 about 2-3 months!. i remembered yesterdayy that i still had them in there, so i put new solution in it, but is it ok if i wear them !? why cant i store my contacts for longer then 30 days in the solution, does it go bad or sumthin !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The solution doesn't go bad, per se; it's just that it loses its ability to kill off any bacteria or whatever else might be present!. If you replace the solution, it should kill off anything that's grown in the meantime!. I'd clean them (not just replace the solution, but rub and rinse the lenses, even if your solution says 'no rub' on it) now, as well as the night before you intend to wear them again!.
And, of course, if you have any irritation, redness, discharge, etc, take the lenses out and go see your eye doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When it comes to your eyes, don't take any chances!. Throw them out until you get new ones!. Wear your glasses in the meantime, it's not worth it!.
I used to wear contacts until they completely messed up my eyes!. I had a period in time where I couldn't even wear my glasses because they were so messed up!. Now my cornea is permanently damaged and I can never wear contacts again and I can't get lasik eye surgery!. It sucks because I cleaned them religiously!.
