I wore contacts for years, and this happened to me often enough! Rubbing my eyes to hard made it happen, and rubbing them more amde it fall back out!
It doesn't actually go behind your eye, it goes behind your eyelid or off to the corner! It feels super weird, and annoying! Next time it happens, go to a mirror and try to find it! lift your eyelids up and you will see it! Usually, its folded in half!

Maybe you should try another brand and see if they aren't more comfortable!. Use lubricating drops if you notice your eyes start to get scratchy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible to have your contact slide up and get stuck but it won't go in behind your eye!. You have your optic nerve and all sorts of tissue back there that will prevent that from happening!. I have been wearing contacts for many many years and on a few occasions I have had a contact slide up on top of my eye!. With some drops and a little rubbing I was able to get the contact to come back down!. In severe cases you may have to go to your doctor to get it taken care of!. I don't know about being fitted and that being an issue but it seems to have happened to me when I had something in my eye and when trying to rub it out I rubbed the contact up!. Also when my eyes are too dry I can have this problem!.!.!. but not too often!. This has only happened to me maybe 4 times in the past 10 years!. If it keeps happening to you please go to your eye doctor and tell him!. Something may be wrong if you have continued problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

probably because you didnt get em fitted and maybe theyre the hard ones which go behind the eyes sometimes !.!.x !?
