Question: Eye problem!!! what is this called and how long will it take to be "cured"!?
OK i used to wear glasses, but now i have contacts; and i have this eye problem that when i was in 2nd grade i started wearing glasses but now im in the 8th grade and i wear contacts now!. so my eye dr!. says that i still have to grow into my eyes, like i still have my baby eyes!. and he also said my eyesight will gradually get worse, then gradually get better!. I just want to know what is this called and when will i not have to wear glasses/contacts any more!?

Those with myopia see nearby objects clearly but distant objects appear blurred!. With myopia, the eyeball is too long, or the cornea is too steep, so images are focused in the vitreous inside the eye rather than on the retina at the back of the eye!. The opposite defect of myopia is hyperopia or "farsightedness" or "long-sightedness"
