Question: Is it possible to get "lazy eye" in adulthood!? what causes it!?
Answers:
Maybe, depending on what you mean by the term "lazy eye!."

If by "lazy eye" you mean an eye that turns in, drifts out, or is higher than the other (strabismus), it can happen in adulthood!. Possible causes are a deterioration of control of a childhood strabismus, stroke, tumors, diabetes, and head trauma!.

If by "lazy eye" you mean an eye that can't see as well as the other (and not because of a cataract or retinal detachment, but b/c of an underlying deficiency in visual development) (amblyopia), that is rare!.

If by "lazy eye" you mean an eyelid that doesn't open as large as the other (ie, the eyelids look asymmetric) (ptosis), this can happen in adulthood secondary to stroke, tumors, head trauma, diabetes, etc!.

An ophthalmologist will be able to determine if you have strabismus, amblyopia, or ptosis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
