Question: Do screens damage your eyesight!? !?
Hello,
In order for me to qualify for an Airline Transport Pilot's License (ATPL), I require perfect eyesight and distance vision!. Does staring at PC monitor or TV affect eyesight or distance vision even slightly!? Should I take any precautions regarding my eyesight when it comes to screens!?

It can cause eyestrain and that is about it!. I do suggest taking breaks when using a computer and shifting your focus about ever 15-20 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've always had 20/20 vision and my eye sight is still fine!. I work with computers, and have been staring at them a very long time!. So far no problems, but I sometimes get migraines!. Maybe use a bigger screen and larger font and resolution, so you are not squinting so much to see everything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's also important to remember to blink because when looking at a screen people tend not to blink and that dries out your eyes making them feel tired and dry!. good luck on the pilot stuff!Www@Answer-Health@Com
