Question: Why cant I use the computer after eye surgery !?
hello I am sixteen and had strambusis surgery today about 4 hours ago the eye doctor said not to use the computer however I am not in front of a monitor I am near my tv because I use my tv as my monitor will this be safe because she didn't say anything about tv and I am not right on top of the tv!. any Eye doc's out there give your input please I would like only a mature audience to answer this!. - ryan Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey I am 21 and I've had seven eye surgeries and was told after each one that I could watch TV and go on the computer as much as I want or feel comfortable with!. The only thing it may do is make my eyes tired or dry!. If you are going to go on the computer anyway just make sure that you blink a lot because when starting at a tv or computer we tend not to blink as much and that dries out the eyes!. I'm not sure what your surgery involved but maybe just stay off for a few days!? or call and ask lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
