What is a floater in the eye and can it be treated?!

Question: What is a floater in the eye and can it be treated!?
Answers:
My doctor said floaters are a result of holes in the retina!. For some people they could just be absolutely nothing but they are also a symptom of retinal holes, tears and detachments!. Ive had quite a few detachments and I still have tons of floaters!. As a matter of fact they are floating all over the screen as I type this lol!. There isn't anything you can do about them and if it's not bothering you or hazardous to your vision I wouldn't surgically remove them!. If you are concerned though you should definitely get it checked out just to be safe! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My sister had a floater in her eye!.!.!. she went to the doctor and they said they could surgically go in and take it out, but it would cost a lot of money!. Every now and then she sees it floating around, but it should diminish with time!. Sorry :(Www@Answer-Health@Com
