Are my eyes going to fall out after LASIK (laser) surgery?!

Question: Are my eyes going to fall out after LASIK (laser) surgery!?
Well, obviously, they probably won't!. LOL I scheduled my Lasik surgery and am looking forward to going glass-less in the near future! I'm excited!.

However, with all the things that could go wrong, I was hoping to get some feedback from those who have had this procedure done!. Did yours work!? How long did it take to recover!? Did anything go wrong!?

Any advice or personal experiences would be helpful! Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

my eyeballs popped right out as soon as i hopped off the operating table!. the doctors scrambled to pick them up, but one had already rolled underneath one of the operating beds and they had to use a broom to sweep it out!. But they put em back in there and everything's been fine and dandy since!.

I read a story somewhere about a bigwig who worked in the corporate office of a place that performed Lasik surgery!. As an employee, he got the royal Lasik treatment!. His eyes see 20/20 now, but he's in a lot of pain, his eyes are messed up in spite of having perfect vision and he wishes he never had the surgery!. In fact, he quit his job at the place he worked because he couldn't recommend it to anyone because of what happened to him!. I wish I could remember the name of the guy or the article, I'd forward it to you!.

well i haven't had it done personally, but my sister-in-law did, and we watched it on the tv!. she did fine, and she was up and walking and seeing perfectly when she got home!. She sees a lot better now, she had horrible vision, and now she doesn't have to mess with her contacts and glasses all the time! Well I've heard that after a while your eyes just start to go bad again and need a new prescription *another surgery* (because it's like your wearing a permanent pair of glasses, and after a few years, your glasses aren't strong enough anymore so they bump up your prescription right!?) Well my mother-in-law and brother-in-law had it done too a few years ago, and they're still seeing ok! Don't worry about it so much, you'll be fine! It's an odd procedure and if you can withstand it then go for it! I know you can't feel anything, but you see it, and some of the things they do are annoying!. (i'm too much of a chicken i don't like the idea of my eyes being open the whole time!) lol good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have seen them to this!. What ever you do, don't take the mask off your eyes for 12 hours!.!.!.!. Oh wait that was in the movie with Tom Cruise!. Never mind you will be fine!. Okay in all serious your eyes will be sensitive so you may want to keep the dark glasses they give you on the way out and make sure you have someone to drive you to and from the place!. You should recover in like 3 days or so!. And may have a few sensitivities for a week or so!. I have had 3 people in my family get the surgery and they never had a bad experience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just had it done on Monday! Please make sure the reputation of the doctor and place is good--if it is cheap or discounted-don't go there!. Average cost is $1600-2000 per eye!. You only have one set of eyes-don't go cheap!
Mine went well-Love it! The eye sight will improve over next 1-3 months!. the first 4-5 hours are a discomfort-but it'll be fine! lay flat on back, eyes closed for those hours!
Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
