Question: My 2yr old is having surgery to unblock her tear ducts!.!.!.!?
My daughter who was 2 last month has surgery next month to unblock her tear ducts!.i understand what will happen during the surgery but not sure about what happens after the op!.
will she have patches on her eyes!?
will her vision be blurred!?
how long will i have to keep her in for after!?

She probably won't have patches on her eyes!. Her vision will only be blurred if your doctor prescribed an ointment or eye drop to prevent infection after the surgery!. She may have a few bloody tears and that is normal!. Most tear duct surgeries are done as an outpatient surgery!. After the surgery and after they take her off anaesthesia and her vitals are good, she can go home with you!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
