Getting glasses new look?!
Question: Getting glasses new look!?
I'm going for an eye test tomorrow!. I'm 14 and am worried about people will say at school if I wear them!. I don't think they would allow me to try contacts as my eyes probably aren't bad enough!. What can I do to minimize what people say and notice about me!? I know it might sound confusing but surely there is someone in/or has been in my situation xWww@Answer-Health@Com

yup, i've been there except i had to start wearing my glasses when i was in 4th grade! when i first got my glasses i didn't want to wear them either! everyone knew i had them cause i guess my mom told me teacher!. so my friends kept incouraging me to wear my glasses!. when i finally put them on they said it wasn't bad at all and i was over exaggerating!. when i got to high school i've been wearing glasses for so long that when my parents finally let me get contacts i was affraid to wear contacts! well anyway, my point is that it's probably the change that you're scared of more than anything else!. now a days, glasses are in style and people buy fake glasses all the time! i still even wear my glasses!. with or without glasses you still should be you and that's what people should see you as anyway!.
