What do they do at a contact lens exam?!

You'll need to see an optometrist to be fitted for the proper contact lenses!. During this exam the Optometrist will evaluate your vision to get the correct prescription!. Most offices will have your prescription available but occasionally they'll have to order your lenses!. If the lenses are handy, they'll have you put in the lens and see if you can see and if the lens is a proper fit!. Generally, you will go home for a week or so with the contacts and go back for a recheck to talk about how you are seeing and if the lenses are working!. Sometimes the lenses feel good and it's perfect and sometimes you might need to try a different type!. It's fairly straightforward and isn't anything to worry abut at all!.
