Answers:
No -- water should never touch your contact lenses! It's not sterile, and can actually reintroduce harmful bacteria, fungi, etc to the lenses, thus defeating the whole point of using your clearcare!
If you want to rinse them with something, do it with saline solution that is intended for contact lenses!. You could also use a multi-purpose contact lens solution, which is sometimes easier to find!.
And here's a secret nobody will ever tell you -- 90% of the peroxide (the burning stuff) in the solution is neutralized within the first 5-10 minutes; after 3-4 hours the concentration is fairly minimal, and after 6h it's basically zero!. Some people with not-so-sensitive eyes could probably handle inserting the lenses after only a few hours; the rest of us wait 6+!.
So, bottom line -- let them neutralize (sit in the clearcare solution in the case) for as long as possible, then rinse with saline to reduce the chance of burning upon insertion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Um, I do not do that! I do rinse them in normal saline though after I use the Clear care becuase I like it better that way!. But, if the solution is not done working, then you should not have put them in!. They are not disinfected and bad to wear!. We would never reccomend using them inside of the 6 hour mark!Www@Answer-Health@Com
