Hello again!. I've worn contacts for 7 years (since 7th grade) and I still water in my eyes!. This is because you are contacting your eyes which is sensitive material!. It is not uncommon to cry or tear while putting them on or taking them off!.

At first just use them for only school that way your eyes are building up and getting accustomed to the lenses!. They are like a foreign object and your body will not know how to respond!. Make sure you put eye drops in them once in a while just so that they don't "stick" to your eyes which will make it very irritating and blurry to see!. As you start becoming more and more accustomed to them start building up your hours on how long you use them but again make sure you use the proper eye drops!.

I now wear my contacts all day from as early as 6 to as late as 1am (wake up, school, work, homework, etc!.) The only thing I do not like to do is wear them when I'm driving in the dark because contacts become dry quickly when your eyes are locked on one scene for so long!. Same goes for homework or reading a book!.

Your eyes will feel tired at the end of the day because again you've relied on the contacts for so long and then you're transitioning to glasses!. When you take out your contacts, rinse your eyes/face with cold water to "get-rid" of the dryness of your contacts and then your glasses should adjust just fine!.

Good luck!.

EDIT: I forgot to mention to never sleep with your contacts because you risk having them get permanantly stuck in your eyes and that's no fun trying to get them out!. You will get blind for several hours or days if not treated properly!. A nap is okay but I wouldn't recommend it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had trouble when I first started wearing contact also!. First your eyelids have to get use to them being there!. Follow your doctors advice length of wear!.!.!. you will work your way up!. Don't sleep in your contacts!.!.!. it isn't good for your eyes!. As for the dryness!.!.!.!. there are drops !.!.!.Switching between glasses and contacts might give you a headache!. It shouldn't take more than a month to get use to the contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
