Ok, i'm only 14 but my eyesight is the worst out of anyone i have ever met:
-7!.75 in left eye
-7!.25 in right eye
my eye doctor doesnt really tell me if its normal or anything, he just does the perscription and stuff!. btw, i wear contacts

Yours is a prescription tipped into the "high myopia " category, normally considered to start at -6!.00, but it's not that rare!. Most ranges of contacts run to at least -10!.00 and I've supplied lenses to -24!.00!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well your number is a bit on the high side,but if after corrective lenses you can see well enough then it shouldn't be a problem should it, get a little older,if it still bothers you laser surgery might be an option worth looking at,but be careful with the surgeon you choose,a lot of people have ended up with worse eyesight after the surgeryWww@Answer-Health@Com
My eyesight is pretty poor too, like -6!.00 in both eyes!. Do you ask questions to your optometrist!? If so and he doesn't answer properly, you may want to see someone else who's more thorough!. I suggest you visit an opthamologist (a specialist) but you'll need a referral!. Good luck! Www@Answer-Health@Com
