New contact lens help?!

Question: New contact lens help!?
I now have contacts for the first time and I am not quite sure if what I am experiencing is normal!. They physically don't hurt at all and I can't even tell at all that I have them in!. However, I am not sure how I am supposed to be seeing!. Yesterday (my first day), I could only have them in for two hours because I got a headache!. Today, no headache yet, but sometimes I can see real clear and other times really blurry!. I kind of have that feeling when you first get a new pair of glasses and the ground appears distorted!. What do people mean when they say you need to get used to wearing contacts!? Does it mean getting used to them physically or getting used to seeing out of them!? I guess what I am trying to get at is I am not sure if the prescription is correct or seeing all funky at first is normal!.!.!.any help and experiences are much appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi-

If you have toric lenses (lenses with two curves) they can spin on your eye if they are too loose and cause the prescription to be a little off!.

If they aren't toric lenses, (regular soft), they could be just ill-fitting causing the lenses to move too much or too little, making for
fluctuations in your vision!.

Lastly the rx could be a little off---but it's probably the fit/style of
lens causing a problem!.

Give your fitter your symptoms, they may need to make some small
changes to make you more comfortable!.

I used to be an optician!. It sounds like your Rx is not right, Call the doc and have a followup done and wear your glasses until you do!. I hope you have a backup pair of glasses too!. Hardly anyone with contacts gets them and you really should in case of eye infections or lost contacts!. But do call your doctor for a followup!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
