i tried before
i left everything at home and i was at a friends!.
so i took my contacts out and put them in separate cups and filled them with water!.
since i didn't have my glasses the next morning i put my contacts in as soon as i got up!.
when i went to put it in it hurt soooooooo bad!.
so i figured it was inside out and turned it around and put it back and it still hurt!.
so when i got home i just threw them out!. i was just blind for a little!.
but one time i forgot my case and instead of keeping them in i put them in cups again but i didn't want to use all my solution so i mixed it with water and in the morning i just rinsed them off!.
i would suggest using water and as soon as yer mom can get the solution get rid of the water, rinse the contacts and soak them in solution for at least an hour!.
but if yer due to change them soon i would just throw them out and not worry about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Water is never suggested for your contacts!. If your contacts are monthly or very expensive you can try this!. If you must, keep them in water overnight and wear your glasses!. The next day, soak them in Clear Care Solution to try and take out whatever the water left in it!. The Clear Care takes 6 hours to work effectively and if taken out and put in your eyes earlier than 6 hours, it will burn!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO you cannot soak them in water! Sorry, not a good choice!. Water has A LOT of cantaminates that can get on your contacts and transferred to your eyes!. You can use pure saline solution, sounds odd but maybe your mom has some of that in the house!.!.!.!?!? Otherwise, throw them out and start with a new pair tomorrow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sorry, no
Water has so many contaminants!. Your contact lens solution is formulated to prevent bacteria and is perfectly buffered with salt, water, and oils to keep them moist and clean!. Plain water does not do this!.

I never tired this, but try a weak salt water mixture, it seems like it would work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, don't use water!. If you can, just throw them out and get another box!. Or if you just took these out, and really don't want to waste money, put them in your case (which I assume is clean already), and when you get the solution, pour it in the case for whatever the recommended time is!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can try using distilled water for a temporary solution but it's not something I would recommend using frequently!. When I first started using contact lenses in the early 1980s, I used to buy saline tablets that could be dissolved in distilled water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can sock in isopropyl alcohol or medical distilled waterWww@Answer-Health@Com
