Is there a small organism living in my upper/right eyelid?!

Question: Is there a small organism living in my upper/right eyelid!?
I've been having these odd spasms in my right/upper eyelid today!. I've had it happen before, over the years!. I'm just curious about what causes it!. It feels like there's a small worm in my eyelid whom contracts his body, causing the sensation!. I'm guessing it has to do with blood vessels, since there are no perceivable muscles in my upper eye covering!.

Ten points for the most informative answer!. And thank you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, there are muscles surrounding your eye!. What you are experiencing are muscular contractions!. The technical term for this is myokymia!. The cause of typical myokymia is not well-understood, but some factors which may play a role in the development of myokymia are stress, fatigue, and excessive caffeine or alcohol intake!. So, try to relax, rest and limit your intake of caffeine and/or alcohol!. :)

Most of the time, this condition is benign and self-limited!. Though I can't be ABSOLUTELY sure, I'm willing to bet that there is no worm or organism residing in your upper eyelid!. ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I get em too!. It's most likely due to stress or lack of sleep!. I hope it goes away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
