Question: Worried that my 2 y-o might be color blind!.!.!.!?
Is there any free, online tests that can help me out!?
I can't figure out if he is confused on colors, or having a hard time seeing them!.!.!.
Oh yeah - Yes, I know that 2 is young!. However, when he recognizes shapes, is starting to recognize letters and number, yet having a hard time with colors - we worry!.!.!. It would be nice to have a definitive "yes, it appears he might be color blind" or "no, it looks like he is just having trouble with the question!.!.!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son is 3 now!.
When he was 2 he was single his ABC's, spelling his name, reciting his phone number, counting to 10, etc!.!.!.!.all things that I thought were advanced!. He will also tell you that the president is George Bush and he lives in the White House!. BUT!.!.!.when it came to colors he DID NOT get it!!!! I too questioned whether or not he could be color blind!. He would say "I don't know", he would say the wrong color, or he would get stuck on one color and say RED for everything, then it changed to BLUE!.
It was very frustrating!.
I bought a color chart and hung it on his wall in his room and a few books having to do with colors!. After a few WEEKS of going through them with him he started to pick it up!.
There are LOTS of colors and it is confusing for a little guy!.

I agree with Jill!. Plus, color blindness is hereditary!. Was your Dad color blind!? If so, chances are that your son could be also!. Color blindness skips a generation and the female (you) is the carrier!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i think the only way to be 100% sure would be to take him to an eye doctor because it could be possible that he is color blindWww@Answer-Health@Com
