RGP contact lenses vs soft contact lenses?!

Question: RGP contact lenses vs soft contact lenses!?
Hello!. I have been using soft contact lenses for the last 5 years and I have not been pleased with them!. I used to think that I just need time to adjust to the lenses but 5 years!? no way!.

The problem is that I can't see very well when I open my eyes wider for some unknown reason!. I think it has to do with my eyelids pushing or pulling contact lenses (I'm an asian and I have heavy upper eyelids)

I have severe astigmatism on just one eye and mild astigmatism on the other!. (I dont know which is which)

Right eye: -4!.50 -1!.75 10
Would RGP contacts provide better vision correction even if I open my eyes bigger since they are much smaller than soft contact lenses!?

Thank you in advance!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Although RGPs are old fashioned contact lenses, they are little bit more involved in wearing!. You have to learn a different method to inserting and removing the lenses since they are very tiny and are made of hard material!. They also require a different method to cleaning as well!. They are also alot more pricey just for one pair!.!.!.!.althought the pair lasts a year or so!.

I am a soft contact lenses wearer/instructor and the comfort Ive heard is a little bit more difficult to get used to then the soft lenses!.

I would recommend asking your doctor if there is another brand of disposible soft lenses (such as Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism!.!.!.which are very comfortable and provide myself with great vision) or then ask about RGPs if that doesnt work out for you!.
Goodluck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
