Does a pair of contacts loose their effectiveness if you wear them too long?!
Question: Does a pair of contacts loose their effectiveness if you wear them too long!?
I know this sounds odd, but I have been wearing the same pair of contacts for about 6 months (way longer than you're suppossed to wear a pair of disposables) and I've noticed that my vision has gotten less sharp recently!. I'm 26 and I doubt my actual vision has worsened that much in a few months, so I'm wondering if somehow the age of the contacts is affecting their effectiveness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, your contact lenses can lose their effectiveness because of all the handling and the fact that the lenses themselves are getting old!. Protein, debris, not to mention the deformity in shape of the lenses could occur over time!.!.!.causing the lenses to be less powerful then a fresh pair!. If you take your lenses out daily, the maximum amount of time you could make a pair of lenses last would be a month; then i advise throwing them away after that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Mine get cloudy and once I put new ones in if feels kinda like when you clean the windshield of your car and you want to kick yourself for letting it get that dirty that you couldn't see right!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
