Question: Can not wearing eyeglasses when you're supposed to wear them, cause blindness over time!?
Somebody had told me that this is possible, so you should wear your eyeglasses if you're supposed to be wearing them!. Over the years it's possible that you can go blind from stigmatism, or cataracts, and things of this nature!. True or Not!? I stopped wearing eyeglasses for like 2 years already, even though I'm still supposed to be wearing them for my eyesight!.What's up!? Is this person right, or this is just a myth or misconception!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Not wearing glasses will NOT make you go blind or even ultimately affect your vision!. Nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism are all a result of the shape of your eye- putting a lens in front of it cannot affect this!. Not wearing glasses will simply make you blurry for the time being, it obviously is not bothering you too much or you'd be wearing them all of the time!. Hope this puts your mind at ease and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cataract surgery is the most done surgery in the country, it's safe and usually done to the old folks!. Astigmatism is common and is corrected with glasses!. You have been giving Mis-Information by a person who is uninformed and dumb!. If you were prescribed to wear glasses then you should be wearing them!. Not wearing them will cause your vision to get worse over time and could be dangerous if you're operating machinery and or driving a motor vehicle!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
