Cost of eyeglass lens?!
Question: Cost of eyeglass lens!?
What are the average costs for eyeglass lens!? For example, the ones from Lenscrafters!? I wanted some specific numbers, if possible!. And will it be alright if I bring in the frames and they just put in lens for me!? I don't like their selection and bought something better from somewhere else!. Thanks!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most optometries charge more for lenses when purchased without a frame!. Basic lens would run for about $50 if your prescription isn't too high!. Thinner lens would be around $100 while safety (polycarbonate) lens would cost $90!. The best bet would be Polycarbonate lens which is safe and also thinner than regular CR lens!. Additional costs may vary such as AR coatings and tinting!. Coatings would be around $40!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
NVI is the vision center inside Wal*mart!.They charge $20 to trace the frame you want and lens start at $30 for a pair of single vision plastic lens!. Also depends on your prescription, the higher it is the more it will cost!. NVI has an awesome line of designer/ stylish frames;) Check them out! just a lens !? well its $15 per lens, but you probably want both so $30 total
