Hello there
I have what you have except that my right eye is around 20/200 while my left eye has normal 20/20 vision!. No- you won't fail the licence test as long you have one eye that has 20/40 vision or better (in other words you don't really need to have glasses when driving)!.
Also it is possible for the bad eye to get worse- the vision in my right eye used to be better, and it is up you if you want to get glasses or not!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no you don't need glasses your eyesight is almost normal, and you can live without it, improve it

I think if your vision is 20/40 or worse, you have to wear corrective lenses for driving!. There's no way of knowing if it will get worse, some do, some don't!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

is it after correcting with glass or before it ---if had improved with glasses, on problem, you can wear those glasses and be happy, for nothing much has gone wrong Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not really but im sure some doctor would encourage you to buy them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
