I'm not sure what 300 degree astigmatism is, but I'll assume you mean the astigmatism power is 3!.00!. Usually, the degree means the axis of the prescription and I haven't seen 300 degrees!. The severity depends on how old your child is!. If the child is under 8 - 10 years old then they can be at risk for Medridional Amblyopia (a brain thing where it favors one eye leaving the other eye with decreased vision)!. If they are older than that then their vision will just be distorted and blurry!. Hope this helps!. I could help more if you would clarify the specific prescription and I'm sure your eye doctor is a phone call away!. Give them a call and get some answers! Www@Answer-Health@Com

300 degrees or 3!.00 D of astigmatism is a high amount and your child should be wearing his/her glasses all the time!. It is important for him/her to have clear vision while his/her eyes are developing!. Make sure to follow your doctor's instructions and get checkups as needed!.

For people without astigmatism, images focus at one single point in the eye, but for those with astigmatism, images are clear at two different points in the eye!. For example, vertical components of an image will be in focus at one distance while horizontal components of the image will be in focus at another distance!. So basically, it causes overall blur at both near and far!.

Hope that helps and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

both eyes put to gather it may be 3000degree ---it is not possible in one eye having 3000degree---may be you meant 120degrees in one eye and the other is 180degrees or 150 degrees both eyes but you have not told about the +or - lenses and their power--any way it is for to look after the prescription and no one with astigmatism can escape the glasses for a constant wearWww@Answer-Health@Com
