What foods affect vision/eye health?!

Question: What foods affect vision/eye health!?
I am near sighted, and, without my glasses, my vision is about up to four inches before things start to become blurred!. If you held a book in front of me and asked me to read the cover, I wouldn't be able to!.

I was wondering what foods would be good for my eyes, and help me maintain the vision that I have!. I'm 17 years old, and I don't want to let my eyes get any worse!.

my vision is 72 if that helps, I don't know if its 20/72 or what, but I just remember the doctor saying that my vision was 72 if that helps!.

Answers:
Anything that is good for your body is good for the health of your eyes, especially leafy green veggies and antioxidants!. They can help prevent eye diseases later in life!. However, no food is going to affect your nearsightedness!. Eyesight is determined by the size and shape of your eye, and no food will change these!. Your eyes are not nearsighted because they are unhealthy; they are simply shaped differently than people who do not need correction!. It is normal for nearsightedness to progress through the teens, and it should stabilize in the twenties!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Vitamin A deficiency can cause eyesight to get worse, foods that have vitamin A include; Carrots, Liver, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, Kale, Butter, Spinach, Eggs and more!. Carrots seem to be highest in Vitamin A, and raw is better than cooked, since cooked decreases of some of the nutritional value!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
