Well!. Legally it is 18 in the US!. Most doctors do not use age as a gage, though, there are many other factors that come in to play!. First is eye stability!. Most people do not have a stable Rx until in to their early 20's!. Some Doctors will not touch anyone under the age of 21!. They also measure your tear layer, your corneal thickness and many other factors!. Just turning 18 does not mean you can just go and get surgery!.
