how far should i look at the comp screen!? about 1 m!?
I think my LCD monitor is making my eye sight go bad!.

Well, LCD aren't as bad for your eyes than CRT or the regular TV etc!. If you can actually read the font from a meter away, I don't think you have any current issues with your eye sight!. (well, depends if you have a 51' monitor set to display 800x600!.!.!.)

Ginko Biloba is often advertised as natural supplement that helps but I'm a little skeptical about it!.
I grew up being told not to read books in the dark, or play video games all night!. Which is precisely what I did!. And I'm the only one with a perfect vision in my family!. (well, perfect=good enough to fly a plane without wearing glasses or contact lenses!.) No, I'm not a pilot!.
Staring at bright lights on the other hand can and will hurt your eyes but when it comes to LCD monitors, there are other factors such as the refresh rate (mhz) and response time (ms) etc!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

1m is a little to far!. 50 cm away from the comp screen is good!. take short breaks after using the computer every 15 min!. look out the window at far objects, trees, etc!. eat vegetables!!! eat plenty of brocolli and carrot!. from what i heard, they improve your eyesight!. and allow time for short exercises for ur neck and eyes when using the comp!. go see the optician if u think ur eyesight has deproved :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
