Why do frames for glasses cost so much?!
Question: Why do frames for glasses cost so much!?
I just got a pair of glasses that, even after insurance and sales discounts, cost $290!. I could have bought an Xbox 360 for less than that!. Now, I can understand why the lenses might be expensive, but my frames themselves cost $160, and they were on the cheap side compared to others in the store!. Why are frames so expensive!? I mean, I've seen more intricate works of metal at the local craft store for a few dollars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is all relative!. Cheap glasses are cheap!. You can find $20 frames and Frames that are thousands of dollars ( I have sold Cartier!.!.!.!.)!. You can find places that have a warranty and some with none!. Places with people that have education and experience and places with none!. Most of the time you will find good product with good people and good warranties at the place that costs more!. You get what you pay for in any venue!. Cars!. Glasses!. Shoes!. Suits!. $160 is average for a current frame from a reputable company!. I Sell frames that start at $90 and go up over $500 in my store and I am not even considered high end!. But, I also have a $10 pair of payless shoes, and a pair of $175 Danskos and I know people who pay Hundreds for their shoes!. It is all in what you want, what you get, and what you are willing to pay for!. Electronics are Extremely expensive when they are new technology and get ridicoulously cheap once everyone has them!. I think most of it is design!.
On top of design, there is issue of quality - you want your glasses to be hold the lenses at the right angle, do no bend over time, survive bumps and falls, be light and smooth!.
An art piece just sits there!.

Hi it doesn't always need to pay high street price for a pair of designer eyeglasses!. Try purchasing online!.!.!. you will find quality brand eyeglasses at decent prices!. You can even do your prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses online as well!.
