people create their own tears!. sometimes people create more tears than others!. if you are the one that doesn't you should try blinking a few times!. sometimes when you stare at a computer all day you forget to blink!. also, if you buy over the counter drops get the ones that say artificial tears!. those would be best!. One of the main reasons people have problems with drying and burning to thier eyes because of reading alot or computers is the bright screens, the light reflects!. But I would try a solution called Systane Ultra you can find it at your doctors office and at Wal-Mart!. It is a new solution that does not just go on the eye and coat, the eye actually absorbs the solution which makes it more effective for a longer period of time!. Also, no using eyedrops will not make you not produce tears that is actually a problem that developes in older patients called Dry Eye Syndrome it is where the tear ducts are underactive!. If you have a sensitive eye , then you will need some eye drops, other then that don't need any eye drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
