A young man went to see his doctor about a similar problem-
He walked into the doctor's office with a stick of celery in his ear, a tomato up his nose, and like you, a carrot in his eye!.
Doc asks, "What seems to be the problem!?"
Guy says, "I am just not feeling that well, Please tell me what is wrong with me!."
Doc replies , "Well, first of all, it appears that you are not eating right!"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Carrots have two main vitamins in them, which are Vitamin A, and Carotene!. These two nutrients are good for your eyes, they help with night blindness and seeing black and white colors!.

I can't really explain the process that well, but in short the two nutrients help keep your eyes healthy by reforming the rhodopsin in the retina!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nothing beyond being a reasonably good source of vitamin A (beta carotene), deficiency in which can cause night-blindness as well as other problems!.

The "carrots and eyesight" link is basically a myth!.
Largely dating from WW2!. (see Snopes, below)

You are better off with broccoli, Brussels Sprouts and spinach, which have high levels of key eye-specific antioxidants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
