What is causing my wierd vision problems?!

Question: What is causing my wierd vision problems!?
When I wake up in the morning, I see a wierd image in the center of my field of vision, it looks like veins, it usually only comes up when I open my eyes the first couple of times in the morning, I also see a flickering light, and I see flashes and floaters!. Ive had two thorough dilated eye exams this year and the doctors said I have very healthy eyes!. Could this just be a migraine!? My mother suffers from vison problems due to migraine, but the stuff I have doesnt relate to what she has!. And also when I look at the mini blinds, they seem to morph a little!. And thats scary!. Could I have a brain tumor!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Perfectly normal!. You are just seeing after images of the blood vessels on your retina, the bright light on awakening creates shadows!. Mini blinds often appear to shimmer due to contrast in light levels between the slats!. Flashes and floaters are common, if the eye exams found no problems, then you have no problem!. Migraine can cause similar effects; with migraine they last 20-30 minutes and are sometimes followed by a headache!.

Brain tumour is highly unlikely!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Trying to diagnose a problem like yours is not easy!. It could be nothing at all to worry about, but on the other hand it could be very serious, or any number of things in between!.

I rather imagine you have had the dilated eye exams from an Optometrist and I would suggest you go now and see an Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist!. He is much more qualified to look at your problem!.

Hope all goes well for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was having the same problems, when I would look at the ground it seemed to be made of water almost, i had floaters and some other minor eye problems!. I ended up having Chiari malformation, most people don't ever know they have it because they have no symptoms, you should have your doctor preform an MRI which can rule out most serious problems you might have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your doctor!Www@Answer-Health@Com
