Dang! I had the exact same problem as you!. I had a sty on my eyelid for like 2 months and it wasn't oozing pus or anything!. What really made it go away was the warm compresses, but make sure you do it like 5-6 times a day!. Or if you really have the time, every 15-20 minutes!. It'll eventually go away!. At first it will look like it's getting swollen and worse but then it'll get better!.
Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just had a sty but my doctor did give me medicine for it because I had had it for over one week!. He said that when there was a sty that would not go away then you needed antibiotics to kill the infection that's in the blood!. He gave me amoxicillion and an ointment for my eye!. It started going away a few days after treatment!. I still have a little spot left but it looks and feels so much better!. Go to a different doctor and get another opinion because sometimes ssty'sare stubborn and do require meds!. You are on the right track with the warm compresses!. Continue that and you could by an over the counter sty cream until you can get an apartment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you sure it couldn't be one of those pesky pimples/zits that last forever!?

I had a sty when I was a kid and just kept a hot washcloth on it and it went away less than a week!. Make sure you use clean cloths so that you aren't giving it back to yourself!. If has lasted as long as you say it has, that is not typical!. Go back to your doctor for additional help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Eye Stye Info

Styes are enflamed sebaceous glands (near the base of the eyelashes) and are usually caused by staphylococcus bacteria!. They look similar to pimples, but should not be squeezed or pierced as the bacteria inside can spread over the entire eyelid!.

2!. How to Get Rid of a Stye; Treatments & Remedies

Whenever you are treating a stye, be very careful and resist the urge to pop or squeeze it! Do not rub your eyes because you can easily spread the infection to your other eye - that is unless you want a matching set
