Question: Have an astigmatism and want to know!.!.!.!?
If you just use your glasses sometimes or all the time!. Or do you prefer contacts!? Both!? My doctor told me that since one eye has 1/2 and the other eye has 3/4 that I might only want the glasses when I read, drive, watch tv and use the internet!. Is it more convenient to have them on/in all the time for you!? I just want to be prepared to buy contacts if I decide it's easier to have the correction all the time rather than constantly be putting glasses on and off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you just have the astigmatism!.!. i!.e your prescription does not involve a long or short sighted element too, I think contact lenses are probably not necessary!. I am an Optometrist and that level of prescription is very much a part time wear situation for most people, however I have some patients who are very sensitive to the distortion that the astigmatism gives them and say for instance you are very sporty and glasses are not suitable for that sport, daily disposable contacts for occasional use may be warranted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well I have a tad stronger than yours with longsightedness and have contacts!.!. But only for sport that i want to concentate on like high level bball!.!. But i dont use them often!.!. Its up to you!.!. But only if you are sporty like i am 3 hours nightly 6x per week!.!. GOOD LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take your doctors advice!. 0!.50 and 0!.75 D either DS or DC is low!. Most people don't wear contacts below 1!.00 D!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
