I think I need reading glasses?!
Question: I think I need reading glasses!?
ok so I can't see the board very well!. I mean when my teacher writes I can't see the white board very well!. I don't want to tell my parents or go to the eye doctor!. There are eye glasses at the store right!? I just don't want to get my parents all worked up and then it turns out I don't need glasses!. Also when I was a little kid I always told my parents that I REALLY wanted glasses so I don't want my parents to think I am in that fase again!. I also don't like gong to the eye doctor!. My eye doctor goes to the same pool as me so I know her well so I don't want to look like a fool in front of her!. What should I do!. I am really worried about getting the reading glasses by my self because my parents might see me getting them!. Help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just tell your parents- because drug store reading glasses won't help you as you are shortsighted and have trouble reading distant things!. You can only get distance glasses from an optometrist so try to make an appointment ASAP!. These days glasses are viewed as a fashion accessory and there are several frames out there which you can choose from!. If you don't want to use them full time you should use them for activities where good distance vision is required like watching TV or looking at the blackboard!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the reading glasses won't work right for you!.
Might be a waste of money to get drugstore glasses!.
If you want to keep it a secret, I would suggest going to the school
nurse for an evaluation--tell her your symptoms and she can give you
a quick check!.
If she finds you have a slight problem with your vision, she can
send a note home with you to get checked by a Doctor!.
This way it's all official coming from the school!.
Or!.!.!.!.the nurse might find you are OK!.

you dont need to go to the eye doctor!. just go see the school nurse then you will find out if you need glasses and your parents will never know!. if it turns out you do need glasses then have your nurse write a note and give it to your parents so that they dont think its just a phase!. i hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no ur near sighted!.( u can only see thing close up but not far away) the ones u can buy at the store are for reading books and up close!. u need to go to the eye docta and get perscription glasses, thats what i have so ya need to tell ur parents

You don't need reading glasses if you can't see distance!. You probably do needs glasses but it's no big deal!. Do yourself a favor now and get them before your eyes get worse!. You will be so glad that you went!. Don't feel like a fool, it's not like you are lieing and if you really can't see that will show in the eye exam anyway!.
I have had seven eye surgeries in the past year so a visit to the optometrist is nothinggg!.!.!.and it will definitely benefit you now and in the future!. But don't buy reading glasses at the store they won't do anything for you!.

Well, you should definitely go to the eye doctor first of all!. If your problem is that you can't see the board, that means you are near sighted and you do not need reading glasses!. Far sighted people need reading glasses!. And they only sell reading glasses at pharmacies and other stores, they don't sell other types of prescriptions!. If this is really a serious problem for you, you should definitely tell your parents and make a doctor's appointment!. And you shouldn't be worried about it being awkward or anything, I'm sure your doctor loves having your business!.
