Are contacts available for -12, -12.5 prescription with astigmatism?!

Question: Are contacts available for -12, -12!.5 prescription with astigmatism!?
I wore contacts in high school but have not worn them in over 10 years!. In high school I had to wear rigid gas permeable lenses because the Dr told me standard lenses were not available for that prescription!. They shattered easily and were uncomfortable, so I was wondering what kind of lenses are available now (12+ years later) for high vision correction with astigmatism!.

My new baby keeps pulling my glasses off my face so I'm ready for a change ;)

I'll be going to see an eye doctor soon but wanted to see what people have to say Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
if you have a little amount of astigmatism so the optician can only add -0!.25 in your minus contact and will be o!.k

but if you have a high value of astigmatism you must to go to:
sof, hard,or toric lens depending in your astigmatism error!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not sure what your full prescription is!. Toric (astigmatism correcting) lenses start our with a cylinder of !.75 diopters!. If you have astigmatism less than !.75 diopters then you will not able to get that in contacts!.

There are lots of options available now!. Go to your eye doctor and see what is available in your prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
