Expired Contact Lenses?!
Question: Expired Contact Lenses!?
I bought a pair of monthly disposable contact lenses from my home country in September and I've only worn it once and I keep it soaked in the solution in the container!. Now the lenses have expired and I need another pair urgently!.
The opticians here (in the UK) refuse to let me purchase another pair with my current prescription and require me to undergo an eye test and blah blah blah but I need my contact lenses really urgently!. I'm considering wearing the expired pair that I have!.
Is it really harmful to wear a pair of expired lenses!? How else can I get a pair of new lenses within 2 working days!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, keep in mind that you have to have your eyes tested every year for a current contact lens presc!., whether or not you wear them often!. At our office, we'll give a pair or two of fresh trials if the patient sets up an appt!. So even if you can't see them for 3-4 weeks, they should be able to give you a trial pair!. In the future, though, watch your expiration date!. Since you seldom use your contacts, why don't you try daily lenses!? You just wear them one day, then throw them out!. They are more expensive (sometimes 2 X's as much), but much cheaper than throwing away a 2 week or monthly lens after wearing them once!. They are also great for when you swim!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes it can be harmful, there is a expiry date for a reason!.
Take some responsiblilty, it isn't their fault that you don't care about your eyes enough to get your eyes tested!. They have rules and regulations to sell contacts and they have to make sure ALL of their clients follow them!. Also get some glasses for backup!!
PLEASE, own up to your own faults, it takes time, THESE are your eyes, don't screw around with them!!

Is your prescription expired!? If not, when one doctor says no, go to another one!.
