I took my driver's test and found out that I have 20/40 vision!. I have glasses, but I only use them for reading, especially distance!. By Missouri law, I'm not required to wear glasses or contacts while driving, if I was anything worse than 20/40, then I would be!. I can see fine, it's just the distance reading that gets me!. I say see an eye doctor and consider what he suggests, but if you function fine without them, then you probably don't need them to survive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It depends on what is causing the 20/40 vision!. If your vision can be improved with glasses and you want to see better, then you need glasses!.
If your vision is reduced due to an disease that can be treated and glasses will not improve the vision, then you need disease treatment, not glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
